Key school information: Location, student count, school type and official links, all on one page.

Writing to fifty schools that don't fit wastes your time. Your fit score helps you focus on the programs where you have a realistic chance.

A fit score for each school: Each program gets an estimated score based on your position, class year, academics and what you want from a school. It's a guide, not a promise of interest.
See why: Open the breakdown to see how basketball, academics and opportunity each add up to the score.
Compare side by side: Put your shortlisted schools next to each other — division, conference, location and fit — and decide with the facts in front of you.
The more you add, the better it gets: Only the basics are required. Adding measurements, stats and preferences makes every score more accurate.
Recommended for you: A Recommended tab on Discover shows programs that line up well with your profile, so you have a strong place to start.
Your preferences count: Tell us how much distance, school size, playing time, development and academics matter to you, and the score weighs them in.

Prepare a stronger first message

Coaches get a lot of email. A short, specific message with your film makes it easier for them to say yes to a closer look.

The right coach: Find the coach and contact details we have on file for each program, each shown with where it came from.
A draft to start from: Generate a first email written for that coach and program, change the tone, and save templates you can reuse.
You send it, from your own email: Connect your Gmail and send when you're ready. Nothing goes out unless you press send, and a message only shows as Sent once Gmail confirms it.
Your film and profile, ready to share: Keep highlight film and documents in one place, and share a public profile page at your own link.
Templates you can reuse: Save the messages that work for you and start your next email from them instead of a blank page.
Know when your profile is opened: Your public profile link shows when it gets viewed, so you can see if a coach took a look.

Can HoopReach guarantee an offer or a reply?: No. HoopReach helps you research and organize your recruiting. Offers, scholarships and replies are always up to the coaches.
What does it cost?: You can start free today. Pro is coming later — you can see its planned prices on the pricing page, but it can't be bought yet.
Where does the coach information come from?: From official athletics and school websites. Contacts without a confirmed source are clearly marked as not verified or not publicly listed.
